Our take
I picked up the Kenwood A728 attachment for my Chef mixer, and it's a solid add-on for slicing and shredding. That said, it's only for slicing/shredding—no chopping or blending here. And you do need a Kenwood Chef to use it at all, so it's not a standalone unit.
